    Discover California LULAC: established in 1933

    California LULAC was established in 1933. It is under the umbrella of National LULAC, founded in 1929. LULAC is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in  America. LULAC was created at a time in our country’s history when Hispanics were denied basic civil and human rights.

    To advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of the Latino population of the United States.

    California LULAC consists of councils all across the state from San Diego to Sacramento. Our council structure empowers high school-age students to collegiate, young adults to create councils and partner with adult councils to impact their communities.
